Staff Shortlisted for TWO Prestigious Awards
It is an exciting time for Maggi Bradley and the Sefton Training Hub team as they have been shortlisted for two awards at the Student Nursing Times Awards.
We are thrilled that both Maggi Bradley and the Sefton Training Hub with Edge Hill University have been shortlisted for the awards, and will be celebrating their achievement at the final on Friday 28 April in a glittering live ceremony in London.
Maggi, Nurse Clinical Lead at the Sefton Training Hub has been shortlisted for Practice Supervisor of the year while The Sefton Training Hub and Edge Hill University has been shortlisted for Partnership of the Year for their work on 'The Aquarium' the importance of inclusion of learning disability students in primary care.
The Aquarium project is a collaboration between the Training Hub and Edge Hill University, led by Maggi. The project aims to enhance equality, diversity and inclusion within primary care by enabling people with learning disabilities to better understand and enhance their ability to input into their healthcare choices.
Through the Sefton Training Hub's partnership with Edge Hill University, they receive a high level of fantastic input and feedback from student learning disability nurses into the Aquarium project.
